KASSIOS DIAS TRAIL RUN

Kassios Dias is an amateur sports team driven by a passion for athletics, aiming to inspire young people, promote volunteerism, and highlight both the natural and cultural wealth of the region.

Over the years, we have successfully established a high-level trail running event, which proudly ranks among the top mountain running races in Greece. At the same time, our races have contributed to the preservation, signage, and promotion of 80 km of trails, creating opportunities for hiking and sports tourism on the island.

A Race Through a Landscape of Unparalleled Beauty

One of the unique features of the race is that part of the route follows the coastline, passing through the unique ecosystem of Erimitis, a Natura-protected area of exceptional environmental value. At the same time, the terrain maintains the pure mountain character of the race.

Dense vegetation, stunning beaches, and three small lakes form an unmatched landscape, one of the few remaining untouched areas where nature’s beauty remains unspoiled.
