The new Cave Edition route of 25 kilometers with 1,300 m of positive elevation gain presents an exciting challenge for athletes, combining mountain difficulty with coastal beauty. This year’s renewed course replaces the classic 23 km route and offers a unique experience, passing through trails that were part of the Ultra Kassios (80 km), while connecting mountains, sea, caves, traditional villages, and stunning flora.
The race will start at 08:30 from the Port of Kassiopi. Initially, athletes follow a short section of asphalt before entering the uphill trail towards the old settlement of Podolakos. From there, the route heads towards Peristerograva (Pano Grava), one of the largest caves in Corfu, providing participants with the unique opportunity to pass through it.
The ascent continues towards the peak of Matagonas (8th km, 640 m altitude), where athletes will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. The descent follows forest trails and passes through the picturesque villages of Meggoula, Kremmytha, Kariotiko, and Agios Stefanos Sinion before reaching the unique ecosystem of Erimitis.
The coastal trail within Erimitis, a protected NATURA area, offers stunning natural scenery as it leads athletes to Avlaki. From there, the route continues towards the final finish at the Port of Kassiopi.
This year’s course combines technical climbs, fast descents, and demanding trails, delivering a complete racing experience that highlights the natural landscape and history of northern Corfu.

Registration Period
Registrations open on February 16, 2025, and close on April 20, 2025.
Registration Method
Only online registrations through the official event website will be accepted.
Schedule

The participation fee is €25.

Participants in the 25 km race must be men and women aged 18 and above.
The race will start at 08:30 AM at the Port of Kassiopi.
For the 25 km race, the intermediate cut-off point is at 10.6 km, at the Megoulas checkpoint, with a time limit of 3 hours.
All athletes must cross the finish line within 6 hours.
